Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager at Wadhwani Foundation, you will be responsible for owning the development of the Wadhwani Innovation Platform. This platform aims to drive commercialization through effective researcher support, entrepreneurship capacity-building, and connecting researchers to a resource network. Your strong technical product development experience and success in building user-centric solutions will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Overall Product Leadership - Identify key program and user needs. - Develop requirements and success metrics for the Wadhwani Innovation Platform. - Coordinate with Engineering and Design teams to build or customize platform features, leveraging AI technologies. - Represent the platform to external stakeholders. - Unified Researcher Support - Design and develop a new researcher support system for efficient grant progress reporting and critical needs support. - Enable integrated tracking and monitoring with data aggregation and disaggregation. - Entrepreneurship Capacity-Building - Design and scale programs to equip researchers with translation and startup skills. - Embed founder-readiness content and expert-led masterclasses into researcher journeys. - Supervise Content staff in instructional design decisions and content development. - Resource Network - Oversee the development of algorithms to match researchers with mentors, experts, investors, and other support entities efficiently. - Design tools to capture expert insights and track outcomes for continuous network quality improvement. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in software product development, with specific experience in business entrepreneurship support, Learning & Development, or start-up mentor networks. - Experience managing data-rich platforms integrating learning, CRM, or workflow tools. - Strongly preferred: Experience in overseeing content development. - Strongly preferred: Experience in innovation, research translation, or startup incubation. - Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams. - Excellent relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and execution skills. - Masters degree in business, science, or engineering fields.
