JOB DESCRIPTION Mac Platform & Device Farm Automation Engineer Experience: 24 Years | Location: Gurgaon About the Role We are hiring a Mac Platform & Device Farm Automation Engineer to build and automate the infrastructure powering a large-scale Mobile Device Cloud. This role goes beyond traditional JAMF administration you will own Mac controller automation, mobile device provisioning, CI/CD deployment pipelines, QA validation, and lifecycle management across Android, iOS, and TV devices. The ideal candidate has robust macOS and JAMF expertise combined with a passion for eliminating manual operational effort through scripting and automation. Key Responsibilities Mac Controller & Deployment Automation Build one-click deployment pipelines for Mac controller software across hundreds of Mac systems simultaneously. Automate provisioning, configuration, version tagging, health checks, rollback, and recovery for Mac controllers. Design CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / Bitbucket) for Mac Controller services, Device Agents, Appium Hub, and network/monitoring agents. Automate staged rollouts, release validation, and deployment dashboards. Mobile Device Farm Automation Automate full lifecycle of Android, iOS/iPad, Apple TV, and Android TV devices: onboarding, enrollment, provisioning, cleanup, health monitoring, reboot/recovery, inventory sync, tagging, and reservation validation. Build automation for Appium Hub deployment, ADB/idevice communication, device allocation APIs, and post-test device cleanup. QA & Regression Automation Develop automated test frameworks validating device connectivity (Android, iOS, TV), Appium Hub, device health APIs, controller software, and ADB/idevice communication. Build regression suites that run automatically before every platform release. Infrastructure & macOS Administration Automate macOS upgrades, package deployments, certificate renewals, SSH/tunnel management, log collection, service restarts, and Appium node registration. Administer JAMF Pro, ABM, configuration profiles, FileVault, APNs, and PKG/DMG deployments. Build device and controller health monitoring with automated alerting and recovery. Automated QA regression suite runs before every platform release. Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience with real-scale device farms or mobile device cloud infrastructure. JAMF Pro and scripting (Bash/Python) are non-negotiable.
