About the role
As an Interior Trim Lead Design Engineer based in Pimpri, Pune, with 612 years of experience and a qualification of B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, your role involves leading the design and development of automotive Interior Trim systems throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct styling feasibility, concept design, and detailed engineering - Manage validation, prototype coordination, and issue resolution - Design various components like IP/Dashboard, Door Trims, Pillar Trims, Headliner, and Carpet - Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams - Prepare DFMEA, DFA, DFM, and DFS - Review CAE/FEA reports and implement necessary improvements - Perform 3D/2D CAD modeling using Creo / CATIA V5/V6, GD&T drawings, and PLM/Teamcenter data management Required Expertise: - Proficiency in interior trim materials such as plastic, foam, fabric, and leather - Understanding of manufacturing processes and ergonomics - Knowledge of regulatory standards like FMVSS, ECE, and AIS Skills: - Strong domain knowledge in interior trim - Effective problem-solving and communication skills Additional Details: You will be working in person at the specified location. Note: The company offers a salary range of 800,000.00 - 1,800,000.00 per year.
