About the role
Reports To: Manager Overall Job Purpose: The US Data team is searching for a data driven candidate, who enjoys the challenge of digging through data and building predictive data models to target the best customers for direct mail, and outbound telemarketing. This role is based in India with an hybrid working in Chennai Office. It includes regular interaction with the US and Chennai based teams. Will work in using in house demographics attributes to aid in the targeting of customers who would be suited for the correct promotions in helping grow the US Direct Wines business. Key Responsibilities: Building maintaining predictive data models in R. Querying Data via SQL Server. Building PowerBI Reports for better insights. Understanding the various Data Structures. Expanding the knowledge of the team members. Qualifications: Essential Degree in Engineering, Technology or Computer Science or related field. Desirable Additional professional IT qualifications would be an advantage. Experience: Essential (4+ Years of experience) Primary Technical Skills Needed R / R Studio SQL Server Power BI Business Objects Desirable Knowledge of Data Lakes. Personal Qualities and Skills: Self-starter capable of working under their own direction. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong analytical, proactive thinking and problem-solving skills. Committed knowledge sharer both via documentation and other less formal communications. Keen to learn from experience, formal training and tailored self-improvement. Self-motivated and directed.
