As a Lead Software Engineer, Platform & Integrations at Redwood, your role will be crucial in designing, developing, and enhancing products to support enterprise data exchange for over 1,000 global customers. Here's how you will make an impact: - Technical Leadership & Architecture: - Define solutions for complex engineering challenges, establish best practices, and mentor the team for excellence. - Drive architecture, security, compliance, and observability of Java/Spring Boot microservices. - Platform and Infrastructure Ownership: - Lead the evolution of core platform and infrastructure with a focus on resilience, scalability, and communication between components. - Cross-Team Collaboration: - Facilitate collaboration with Product, QA, and other engineering groups to ensure end-to-end alignment for successful product delivery. - AI Integration: - Research and implement AI/ML concepts to enhance product capabilities like intelligent routing, predictive maintenance, and enhanced security. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, focusing on high-scale SaaS platforms. - Strong Java, Spring Boot, and REST API skills with a solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and architecture principles. - Cloud Platform Expertise (AWS Preferred) with experience in architecting, deploying, and managing complex solutions. - Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their usage, with practical experience in applying these techniques. - DevOps Expertise with knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated platform management. - Mastery of container orchestration, specifically with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service). - In-depth understanding of enterprise file transfer protocols and secure communication protocols. - Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor peers, and work in agile environments. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. - Experience with large-scale enterprise application integration, preferably with SAP.
