Engineering Manager / Engineering Lead

As a Software Engineering Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading a team through all phases of the software development life cycle. Your responsibilities will include scoping, designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting software solutions. You will be instrumental in hiring, training, mentoring, and guiding a team of skilled engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Build, train, mentor, and lead a cross-functional agile team - Assist in designing, architecting, and developing advanced software solutions for various projects in a dynamic agile environment - Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders on defining requirements and creating functional specifications - Work closely with Scrum masters, Technical Product Manager, and other team members to co-own deliverables - Participate in or lead the development of technical design and specifications as needed - Establish and promote best practices in software engineering - Mentor and foster the professional growth of new team members - Lead end-to-end feature development with a team size of 8-10 Dev & QA engineers across different levels Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required - Minimum of 10 years of software development experience using Frontend and Backend technologies such as React.js/Angular.js, GoLang/Java/Python, or another object-oriented programming language - At least 3 years of experience as an engineering lead or manager - Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS), containerization (Docker/EKS), and Microservices - Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework is preferred Please note that this role is more focused on the backend side of full-stack development.
