As a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Regal Rexnord, you will be responsible for the manufacturing process design, process quality assurance, and improvements with sustenance. You will play a crucial role in analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment for the production/assembly of new and existing products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Interpreting product design requirements into manufacturing process specifications - Working with cross-functional teams for new product introductions and problem-solving - Implementing Poka Yoke for improving quality - Identifying the root cause of internal and external problems and implementing sustainable corrective actions - Handling defective goods received from customers through preliminary testing and observation reports - Troubleshooting manufacturing problems and implementing sustainable corrective actions, as well as designing and implementing process capability and problem-solving tools - Implementing Manufacturing Flow Charts, Standard Work, procedures, Control Plans, and FMEAs - Proposing changes in Manufacturing Setup and designing new manufacturing lines - Having sound operational knowledge of MSA, SPC, GDT, Tolerance stack-up, Engineering Material properties, ergonomics Poka-yokes, etc. In addition to the above responsibilities, you should have the following functional competencies: - Ability to conceptualize and design efficient jigs, fixtures, preferably with automation - Thorough understanding of GDT, Tolerance stack-up, Engineering Material properties, DFM concepts, and ergonomics Poka-yokes - Hands-on experience in process planning, execution, line balancing, and capacity planning - Exposure to problem-solving techniques such as SPC, Poka-Yoke, and Six Sigma - Knowledge and experience working with welding technology, pneumatic products, and PLC programs - Hands-on experience in creating Part drawings, Assembly drawings, and details drawings using software like AutoCAD and 3D modeling software You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Mechatronics/Electrical with a minimum of 4 years of work experience. Your key relationships will be internal with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Purchase departments, and external with Tooling suppliers.
