About the role
As a First Line Service Desk Analyst, your role will involve installing and configuring computer systems and workstations, diagnosing hardware and software faults, and solving technical and application problems. You will be responsible for providing the right level of support to users, fulfilling and remediating user/management requests and incidents with excellent quality, and respecting the defined Service Level commitments. Key Responsibilities: - Provide 1st level of support - Monitor local infrastructure - Provide day-to-day support for end user requests related to desktop/software/hardware, telecom, and video conferencing - Classify and prioritize requests and incidents - Resolve network connectivity, Projector, and MS Teams issues - Upgrade, repair, and maintain computer networks - Troubleshoot various network issues - Monitor computer networks and systems for performance improvement - Upgrade systems with new releases and models - Conduct tests, identify errors in programs, and manage technical documentation - Assist in troubleshooting technology issues and upgrading network equipment - Coordinate the completion of Standard Operating Procedures - Perform root cause analysis of complex system problems and provide corrective action - Answer inquiries, provide basic training to users, and handle communication with end users and other IT departments - Compile monthly reports for the IT Assistant Manager - Implement service enhancements to improve desktop environment reliability, usability, security, supportability, and performance - Participate in regular staff meetings and training programs Qualifications Required: - Graduate/undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Ability to conduct research on application development issues and products - Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and integrating IT services - Collaboration skills to maintain standards and SLAs - Critical analysis ability to diagnose faults, plan, and take appropriate action - Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and decision-making capabilities Additional Company Details: - Language Requirements: English - Travel Requirements: National traveling to sites and campuses Please note that no prior experience is required for this role.
