VAPT Engineer Mobile Application Security (Chennai)

Job Title: VAPT Engineer Mobile Application Security (Fresher / 1 Year Experience) Location: Chennai Experience: Freshers to 1 Year Salary Freshers: 3.1 LPA Experienced Candidates: Salary based on experience and skills We are looking for a passionate VAPT Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. Candidates should have knowledge of Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) with exposure to Mobile Application Security Testing. Freshers are welcome to apply if they have completed relevant certifications and have hands-on experience through freelance projects, internships, bug bounty programs, personal labs, or academic projects. Key Responsibilities Perform Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) on web and mobile applications. Identify security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures. Conduct mobile application security testing for Android and/or iOS applications. Prepare security assessment reports with findings and risk ratings. Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and security testing techniques. Required Skills Knowledge of Web Application and Mobile Application VAPT. Understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, Mobile OWASP). Familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Nmap, OWASP ZAP, MobSF, or similar security testing tools. Basic understanding of networking and web application architecture. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Eligibility Freshers with solid cybersecurity knowledge, relevant certifications, and hands-on practice (freelancing, internships, bug bounty, or personal projects) can apply. Candidates with up to 1 year of VAPT experience are preferred. Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, eJPT, PNPT, CAPen, Security+, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
