Key Responsibilities Own the Workday integration portfolio: intake, prioritization, roadmap, and delivery across HCM, Finance, Adaptive and Payroll. Lead the full integration lifecycle: discovery, requirements, solution design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Serve as the primary SME for Workday integration patterns and tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, RaaS, Workday Web Services). Define and enforce integration standards: naming conventions, error handling, logging, retry, encryption, documentation, and change control. Architect and implement inbound/outbound integrations (files, APIs, middleware) across HR/Finance/Payroll ecosystems. Design and manage schedules, orchestration, and monitoring; ensure SLAs, incident response, and root-cause analysis for production issues. Partner with Security to implement secure connectivity (SFTP/PGP, certificates/keys, OAuth/WS-Security as applicable), access controls, and audit-ready controls. Own integration testing strategy (unit/system/UAT), regression testing, cutover planning, and release management across tenants/environments. Drive data quality and reconciliation with upstream/downstream systems; define validation rules and exception management processes. Lead and mentor integration developers/analysts; manage work intake, prioritization, and delivery commitments. Required Qualifications 10+ years in Integration experience with 5+ years hands-on Workday integrations experience (build + support). Proven delivery leadership for multiple complex integrations and at least one full Workday implementation or major expansion. Strong hands-on experience in: Workday Studio, EIB (inbound/outbound), Core/Cloud Connectors, RaaS Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST concepts), XML/JSON, XSLT, XPath SFTP, file formats (CSV, XML), encryption/PGP, certificate management Experience with middleware/iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Tibco) tools. Strong troubleshooting skills: log analysis, data mapping validation, performance tuning, and resilient integration design. Experience in Prism analytics is beneficial Strong communication skills with ability to translate between business stakeholders and technical teams. Preferred Qualifications Workday Integration certifications. Experience in Payroll/Benefits/Tax integrations (e.g., ADP, banks, benefit carriers, time systems, identity providers) Experience in Workday security concepts relevant to integrations (ISU/ISC, domain security, business process security). Experience with Workday Financials/HCM/Payroll data structures Experience in global/multi-country organizations, multi-currency planning, and shared services operating models.
