As an actuarial professional in the life insurance division, you will contribute to various actuarial functions, specifically focusing on the development of pricing models and risk assessments. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Assist in developing and maintaining actuarial models for pricing and reserving purposes. - Analyze mortality and morbidity data to evaluate and assess risks effectively. - Conduct financial modeling to provide support for key business decisions. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to aid in decision-making. - Stay updated on the latest actuarial regulations and standards to ensure compliance. - Collaborate closely with other actuarial staff and different business units to achieve common goals. To excel in this role, you are required to have the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science or a related field. - Making progress towards actuarial exams such as SOA or IFoA. - Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in using actuarial software and various modeling techniques. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information.
