Performance Test Engineer - JMeter

As an experienced Performance Test Engineer with 7 years of hands-on expertise in performance testing, your role will involve designing and implementing robust performance test strategies using JMeter tailored to application requirements. You will develop, maintain, and optimize performance test scripts for web and API-driven applications, executing various types of performance tests including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Your responsibilities will also include analyzing test results to identify performance bottlenecks and collaborating with development, DevOps, and QA teams to implement corrective actions. You will monitor system performance using tools such as Grafana, InfluxDB, New Relic, or Dynatrace, prepare detailed performance test reports, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. To excel in this role, you should have a strong experience with JMeter for performance test scripting and execution, proven expertise in conducting load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests, and a solid understanding of web protocols (REST, SOAP) and API testing. Additionally, experience in analyzing system metrics, diagnosing performance issues, and familiarity with monitoring and observability tools will be beneficial.
