About the role
Role Overview: As a Test Architect Sr. QA Automation, you will play a crucial role in leading the automation strategy to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications. Your responsibilities will include architecting, designing, and enhancing test automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium. You will drive best practices, establish automation standards, and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment. Your technical expertise and leadership qualities will be essential in building scalable automation solutions in Agile and DevOps environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium. - Establish automation standards, guidelines, and best practices across QA teams. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and deployment. - Evaluate new tools, technologies, and approaches to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing. - Develop comprehensive automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and performance testing. - Ensure strong test coverage across applications by collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers. - Execute automated and manual test cycles, logging and tracking defects while ensuring timely resolution. - Analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality. - Drive continuous improvement in automation strategy, frameworks, and processes. - Mentor QA team members on automation techniques, tools, and best practices. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with strong expertise in Playwright and Selenium. - Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C#. - Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, JUnit, or PyTest. - Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
