Engineering Manager - SaaS

Key Responsibilities Product Engineering Leadership Lead and manage engineers working on frontend and backend product features. Partner closely with Product Managers and Designers to deliver user-centric solutions. Drive execution of the product roadmap with predictable and high-quality delivery. Execution & Delivery Own sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery for product initiatives. Break down requirements into clear technical tasks and milestones. Ensure engineering best practices around code quality, testing, and reviews. Technical Guidance Provide technical direction for product services and web applications. Review system designs and critical code paths. Help teams make pragmatic architectural decisions that support scale and maintainability. People Management Mentor and grow engineers through regular feedback and career development. Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring interviews. Build a strong, collaborative, product-focused engineering culture. Qualifications & Requirements Experience Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience 2+ years in an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role Experience building and scaling customer-facing SaaS product Core Tech Stack (Required) Frontend: Next.js (React) Backend: Node.js, Python Database: MongoDB Cloud: AWS Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (working knowledge) Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in high-growth startups or rapidly scaling product organizations. Exposure to AI/ML systems, LLMs, or agentic architectures. Contributions to open-source projects or published technical thought leadership.
