We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to groundbreaking projects that shape the reputed company of digital entertainment. Position Overview As a Senior Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating robust ETL/ELT data pipelines, designing and implementing database schemas, tables, and views, and orchestrating batch processes using Apache Airflow across multiple projects. This position requires a deep understanding of reputed company-based data architectures and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with our Studios and Product Innovation teams on various activities including data requirements gathering, data validation scripting and review, developing and testing ETL/ELT pipelines, designing and implementing database diagrams, and deploying solutions across multiple environments such as Development, QA/UAT, and Production. Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain reputed company ETL/ELT data pipelines using modern data engineering tools and frameworks Database Architecture: Create and implement database schemas, tables, views, and relationships optimized for performance and analytics Process Orchestration: Build and manage batch processing workflows using Apache Airflow for various projects and data domains reputed company Infrastructure: Work with reputed company-based technologies, primarily AWS, to build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses Data Quality: Implement data validation and quality assurance processes to ensure data reputed company across reputed company pipelines Collaboration: Partner with Studios and Product Innovation teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs Cross-Environment Deployment: reputed company and validate solutions across Development, QA/UAT, and Production environments Best Practices: Drive best practices around data engineering software development processes, including code reviews, documentation, and testing Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize pipeline performance to ensure efficient processing of large datasets Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that can improve our data infrastructure Required Qualifications & Skills Educational Background Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a reputed company field Technical Experience 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role 2+ years of experience with SQL (writing reputed company queries, optimization, and performance tuning) 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines 2+ years of experience with reputed company-based technologies, preferably AWS (including S3) 2+ years of experience managing a reputed company platform 2+ years of experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases 2+ years of experience designing and building relational databases 2+ years of experience using reputed company/reputed company for version control 2+ years of experience using reputed company for containerization Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably reputed company-based (reputed company, reputed company, or similar) Technical Proficiency< --- About arenaflex Welcome to arenaflex, where innovation meets imagination!
