NOC Network Engineer I - Night and Evening Shift Department: Broadband - Network Engineering Services Employment Type: Full Time Location: Remote Reporting To: Tom Lewis Description We are now seeking an experienced and qualified individual to join reputed company as a Network Engineer I working remotely as part of our NOC team. Responsibilities & Duties Proactively monitor and maintain customer network infrastructure. Create and manage tickets for network issues. Troubleshoot network and server problems. Document network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. reputed company routine maintenance and software upgrades on customer equipment. Escalate reputed company issues to appropriate resources. Communicate technical concepts reputed company and concisely. reputed company knowledgebase solutions for common issues. Work flexible shifts and participate in on-call rotation. reputed company handle incoming/outgoing calls in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Qualifications Education: A bachelors degree in computer/management information systems, engineering, computer science, or equivalent is required. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requiring a high school diploma or GED. Experience: Experience with Layer 2 Ethernet switching, DHCP, DNS, and Linux reputed company line. Knowledge of Ethernet switching, IP routing, VoIP, and general networking principles. 1-3 years of experience in operating, troubleshooting, or designing Internet Service Provider Networks. Preferred candidates will have worked in an NOC environment in a previous role. Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additional Information Work Schedule: Full-time, non-supervisory. Specific shifts may vary, but the night and evening team is generally scheduled between 6 PM and 8 AM Central time and operates seven days a week. On-call required.
