About the role
As a frontend developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining user-facing interfaces using modern web technologies. Your role will involve: - Developing clean and efficient code using vanilla JavaScript (ES6) and modern frameworks. - Optimizing web applications for SEO, accessibility (A11Y), and performance. - Integrating front-end components with REST or GraphQL APIs. - Writing and maintaining automated tests using tools like Cypress and Jest. - Working across different parts of the stack outside of your primary frontend focus when required. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 5+ years of professional frontend development experience. - Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (ES6) and core web fundamentals. - Hands-on experience with at least one framework: React, Vue, Svelte, Astro, or Angular. - Advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS. - Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs. - Experience with automation and testing tools such as Cypress or Jest. - Understanding of NFR optimization, specifically SEO and accessibility.
