Deputy Manager - IT Operations

Role Overview: You are applying for the position of Deputy Manager IT Operations at ReNew, a leading renewable energy company. In this role, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end IT support to VIP users, including the CEO and senior management. Your expertise in Apple (macOS & iOS) and Windows environments, along with strong leadership skills, will be crucial in managing a 24x7 DSS support team and delivering exceptional service with discretion, responsiveness, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: - Provide white-glove IT support for VIP users, especially the CEO and executive leadership team, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and minimal downtime of Apple (macOS/iOS) and Windows devices. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DSS engineers operating on a 24x7 shift model, monitoring performance, providing coaching, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. - Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations and end-user support activities, ensuring compliance with organizational IT policies, procedures, and best practices. - Coordinate and manage IT support for company-wide and leadership events, ensuring seamless setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AUDIO/VIDEO systems, video conferencing, and collaboration tools. - Provide advanced troubleshooting and expert-level support for Apple platforms, including macOS and iOS devices, managing device lifecycle, security configurations, patches, and upgrades for Apple and Windows environments. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications in Apple, Microsoft, or ITIL are a plus.
