For more details: https://www.rentokil-pestcontrolindia.com About the Role: - The Software Tester / Senior Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to deliver a stable and reliable product. - The incumbent will report to the Assistant General Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and testing objectives. - Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for recent and existing applications. - Perform various types of testing, including functional, usability, regression, and performance testing. - Accurately identify, document, and prioritise software defects and inconsistencies. - Work closely with developers to troubleshoot, verify, and validate bug fixes. - Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive bug reports and status updates. - Participate in design and requirement review meetings to provide QA-related input. - Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and automation strategies.
