Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Angular Lead Engineer with 6-9 years of experience.

Previous work experience in financial services is preferred.

B.E/B. Tech (Computer Science/IT) (Fulltime)

Qualifications

• 6 – 9 years of total IT experience with minimum 2 years in Lead Role.

• Required Skills

• Must have:

• Ø Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using Angular v14+.

• Ø Strong ability to design both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

• Ø Proficiency in building reusable components and services to ensure efficiency and consistency across projects.

• Ø Knowledge of UI libraries with Angular (PrimeNG & Angular Material).

• Ø Knowledge of designing micro frontend or multi-repo architectures.

• Ø Knowledge about Integration of REST APIs with backend systems.

• Ø Experience in implementation of authentication and authorization flows (like Guards, JWT Tokens)

• Ø Solid understanding of Angular Life Cycle hooks.

• Ø RxJS and reactive programming.

• Ø Angular Routing and lazy loading (routing, deferrable views).

• Ø Knowledge about Optimizing application performance and bundle size.

• Ø Should have worked on Reactive Forms with custom validations.

• Ø State management (NgRx / Signals / RxJS based services).

• Ø Experience of designing and implementing a centralized global error handling strategy in angular.

• Ø HTML, SCSS, CSS3 with Angular CSS Abstraction.

• Ø Knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript

• (ES6 +).

• Ø Should know about how Change Detection works in angular.

• Ø Exposure to newer Angular features and best practices, and willingness to stay updated with the framework. (e.g. standalone components, signals, etc.)

• Ø Knowledge of OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities.

• Ø Should be aware about the Security headers (CSP) and angular security best practices (XSS, angular dependency versions, etc.)

• Ø Knowledge of ESLint, accessibility and security guidelines.

• Ø Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Ø Experience with Git and branching strategies.

• Good to have:

• Ø Knowledge of backend technologies such as Java/Spring boot.

• Ø Knowledge of on-premises deployment preferably using OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

• Ø Knowledge of prompt engineering and previous experience of working with AI code assistants for code generation and code review.

Responsibilities

• Ø Take complete ownership of frontend architecture, code quality and delivery timelines.

• Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, QA, product managers) to validate designs and ensure smooth implementation.

• Ø Develop and implement reusable components, libraries, and services to promote efficiency, consistency, and maintainability across projects.

• Ø Evaluate third-party libraries for scalability, security, performance, and long-term community support before adoption.

• Ø Understanding the requirements and collaborate with UI/UX along with backend team to design API based on requirements.

• Ø Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Ø Participate in peer code reviews.

• Ø Mentor and guide Junior/mid-level developers.

• Ø Participate in sprint planning and estimations.

• Ø Deploy and manage apps within OpenShift (OCP), should be aware about dynamic environments variable using Config Maps.

• Ø Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.

• Ø Contribute to development of various PoCs as per requirement.

• Certifications

• Technology and Domain Specific Certifications are a plus.
