About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Playwright Automation Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript and Playwright to join our growing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. This role requires a quality-driven professional who can contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, drive automation best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript . Build and execute robust UI, API, and End-to-End automated test suites. Develop reusable automation components following industry-standard design patterns and best practices. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives. Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure application stability and reliability. Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve defects. Improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and framework maintainability. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Mentor junior automation engineers and promote automation excellence across the team. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework . Advanced proficiency in TypeScript . Experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch. Experience with API testing and validation of RESTful services. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Strong experience with Git and version control practices. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber. Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts. Experience with test reporting tools such as Allure. ISTQB or equivalent testing certifications. Education Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
