Sr. Data Analytics Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for building and maintaining a contextualized view of data to serve as a core repository for business and analytics teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design valuable data models by collaborating with stakeholders in Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience. - Develop and maintain dbt code to advance the Unified Analytics Model. - Create and maintain architectural documentation and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs). - Review code contributions and mentor team members on best practices and data hygiene. - Manage and improve CI/CD practices to automate high-quality code delivery. - Write test cases to ensure data quality and protect against breaking changes. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of software engineering experience. - 2+ years of experience delivering data assets. - Advanced SQL skills, including debugging and query performance optimization. - Expertise in data modeling and organizing data through dbt. - Proficiency with Git and version control workflows. - Experience with major cloud data warehouses such as GCP (BigQuery preferred), Azure, or AWS. - Experience working within an Agile team environment. - Proven ability to convert business requirements into technical data models. - Experience in an engineering-focused role with a focus on automation and testing.
