Job Summary The Analyst II, Financial Data Compliance, MIS assists with the maintenance of long term, detailed and accurate financial records on behalf of MIS clients and submitting data reports to various regulatory bodies including NCCI and state regulators. This role works with large amounts of complex data, helping to assure it is captured, stored, maintained, and retrieved accurately and timely. Principal Responsibilities Data Management Assists with ensuring that accurate financial transaction records are kept and stored. Contribute to the management of various complex databases and datafeeds to ensure accurate data is collected, stored, and retrieved. Discovers and escalates fixes any issues, problems or breaks that occur, working closely with Accounting team and Technology team. Financial Data Calls Performs financial data call services on behalf of clients. Helps to submits a variety of highly complex financial reports accurately and timely to NCCI and state insurance regulatory bodies. Pulls and cleans data and formats to NCCI and/or state insurance regulator specifications. Performs a variety of ad-hoc financial data reporting requests for and on behalf of MIS clients. Teamwork and Collaboration Assists Accounting team with a variety of reporting and tasks. Builds knowledge of insurance industry and MIS services and products. Collaborates with Accounting team on a variety of tasks and projects, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Degree - Bachelors / Masters Working Experience 3 to 5 years experience in data management and reporting and/or data analysis Experience coding and/or SQL Insurance industry experience highly preferred Behavioral/Technical Skills; Competencies Intermediate Excel knowledge required (formulas, pivot tables, Xlookup) SQL queries and database management knowledge preferred Quick learner, adaptable, adaptable Extremely thorough and detailed, highest attention to data accuracy required Excellent time management and abi Job Summary The Analyst II, Financial Data Compliance, MIS assists with the maintenance of long term, detailed and accurate financial records on behalf of MIS clients and submitting data reports to various regulatory bodies including NCCI and state regulators.
