We are seeking an experienced DELL EMC Storage Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design, implementation, administration, and optimization of enterprise storage infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Dell EMC storage platforms, SAN/NAS technologies, disaster recovery, replication, and performance tuning while providing L3/L4 support and technical leadership for mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and administer enterprise storage solutions using Dell EMC technologies. Manage Dell EMC storage platforms including PowerMax (VMAX), PowerStore, Unity XT, Isilon (PowerScale), XtremIO, ECS, and Data Domain . Lead storage architecture reviews, migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Perform storage provisioning, LUN creation, masking, zoning, mapping, and capacity planning. Configure and manage SAN fabrics using Cisco MDS and Brocade switches. Implement and support replication technologies such as SRDF, RecoverPoint, SnapVX, MirrorView, MetroSync, and VPLEX . Monitor storage performance and optimize latency, throughput, and utilization. Support VMware, Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, and other enterprise platforms. Lead root cause analysis for critical production incidents and provide permanent fixes. Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible. Collaborate with server, virtualization, backup, cloud, and application teams. Create architecture documentation, SOPs, and technical knowledge articles. Mentor junior administrators and provide technical guidance. Required Technical Skills Strong experience with Dell EMC enterprise storage solutions. Hands-on experience with: PowerMax (VMAX) PowerStore Unity XT Isilon (PowerScale) XtremIO ECS Data Domain Expertise in SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NVMe/FC, and FCoE. Strong knowledge of Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN switches. Experience with: LUN Provisioning Storage Virtualization Thin Provisioning Snapshots Replication Deduplication Compression Performance tuning and capacity planning expertise. Knowledge of RAID technologies and storage best practices. Experience with Unisphere, Solutions Enabler (SYMCLI), CloudIQ, and PowerPath. Storage migration using Open Migrator, RP4VMs, or host-based migration tools. Experience with backup solutions: Dell EMC Data Domain Avamar NetBackup Commvault Veeam Cloud & Virtualization VMware vSphere / ESXi Hyper-V Azure AWS Kubernetes/OpenShift storage integration Container Storage Interface (CSI) Preferred Skills Automation using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus. ITIL process knowledge. Dell EMC Proven Professional certifications. VMware VCP certification (preferred). Soft Skills Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent stakeholder communication. Experience leading technical teams and customer interactions. Ability to work in 24x7 production support environments. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
