Asst. Manager Audit IT Data Analytics

The incumbent will be responsible for a. providing accurate, complete, and meaningful reports and analysis used to supplement internal audits and continuous control monitoring b. working closely with department and/or functional managers to determine report requirements, build reports/dashboards, and quality test them prior to distribution c. providing direction to the Internal Audit team for data analytics methodology and strategy

Support the process of Development and implementation process of various business scenarios and visualisation tools (including troubleshooting to identify root-causes and suggest corrective and preventive measures) Establish relationships with business stakeholders within the Internal Audit function to meet the operational and analytics needs of the organization Increase effectiveness by performing whole population testing instead of random or judgmental sampling Identify controls testing that can be automated through data analytics Develops and deploys reporting and analysis that is accurate, complete and properly summarized to aid in audit initiatives providing insights to the audit team. Responsible for extracting and summarizing data from SAP/S4HANA and other surrounding systems. Has fair knowledge of SAP/S4HANA in memory / on premise database, tables, views and field usage. Has understanding of database architecture and data organization for Process Control Systems (Level 1 and 2) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (Level 3) and SAP S4 HANA (Level 4). Understands business process, flow of data internally across various systems and platforms Good understanding of various ETL tools available, Structured Query Language and its applicability for data extraction from various sources. Expert knowledge on visualization techniques and using / working on visualization tools (Power BI / Python / Tableau/ R) to enable insightful reporting on exceptions Develops a mechanism to provide required analytics to the internal audit field team within the specified SLA Expert knowledge with ability to write / review scripts for analytics Creates library of scripts across various processes and keeps them updated considering the changes in the process / system / data Determines report and dashboard development and design. Tests reports and dashboards and ensures that they perform as expected. Enables continuous control monitoring over routine transactions and flags exceptions to the relevant stakeholders Ability to analyse large amounts of data and investigates and researches anomalies. Works with department and/or functional teams to remove false positives.
