About the role
Position Overview: The Data Analyst will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to help drive strategic business decisions. This role involves building reports, dashboards, and actionable insights to support various departments, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical solutions.
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover hidden opportunities and risks.
Support the development of predictive models and advanced analytics initiatives.
Communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and propose actionable recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies and data governance standards.
Assist with database querying and management using SQL or similar languages.
Document methodologies, data sources, and data flows for transparency and knowledge sharing.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
Ability to translate complex data findings into simple, actionable insights.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and techniques is an advantage.
