Devops Engineer

Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Pune Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer with 8-13 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of software development and system administration, as well as excellent problem-solving and team management skills. The DevOps Engineer will work closely with the software development team and management to oversee the deployment of software solutions, ensuring they meet operational requirements and are optimized for performance. Responsibilities:

1. Consulting with management to understand the operational requirements of various software solutions and advising on the best practices. 2. Contributing expertise on information system options, risk, impacts, and cost-benefit analysis; providing recommendations to strategic and operational objectives. 3. Managing the installation and configuration of software solutions, ensuring they are optimized for performance and meet the needs of the business. 4. Collaborating with the software development team on software requirements, interpreting test stage data to ensure the product meets the required standards. 5. Designing and developing interface simulators and automatic module deployments. 6. Conducting regular code and script updates; troubleshooting and resolving product implementation errors. 7. Mentoring junior software developers, helping them gain experience, and assume DevOps responsibilities, thus enhancing the team's overall skills and capabilities. Skills and Qualifications:
2. Must have 8-13 years of experience in DevOps roles. 2. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java is essential. 3. Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and processes. 4. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 5. Strong team management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams. 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 7. Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN. 8. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
