Lead Designer for UX & UI

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Lead UX/UI Designer to lead and oversee the design strategy, user experience, and interface design for our products and platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting innovative, user-centric designs that deliver an exceptional experience to our customers while managing a team of designers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to bring designs to life and ensure the highest quality results. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute a holistic design strategy across products, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience. Drive the evolution of the design language system to unify the brand, UX, and design guidelines. Act as a thought leader in UX/UI innovation, staying on top of industry trends and mentoring the team to adopt cutting-edge practices.

Design Ownership:

Lead the end-to-end product design process from concept to launch, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity designs. Conduct user research to deeply understand user behavior, needs, and challenges, incorporating findings into the design process. Create user flows , personas , and journey maps to translate complex problems into simple, user-friendly solutions. Ensure responsive and adaptive design strategies to provide a consistent experience across devices and platforms.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

Mentor and guide a team of UX/UI designers, fostering their growth and encouraging a culture of creativity and innovation. Work cross-functionally with product managers , developers , and stakeholders to align business goals with the UX strategy. Provide constructive feedback and ensure the team delivers quality design solutions within timelines.

Process Optimization:

Evaluate existing user experiences and recommend improvements based on data and a deep understanding of customer needs. Define and refine design processes, including usability testing, workshops, and iteration cycles. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the impact of design decisions on business goals and user satisfaction.

Communication and Advocacy:

Present and articulate design concepts to stakeholders, clearly explaining the design rationale. Advocate for a user-centered approach throughout the organization and champion design’s role in achieving business success.

Required Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background:

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Communication Design, or a related field.

Professional Experience:

5–10 years of progressive experience in UX/UI design , with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role . Proven track record of shipping products and delivering exceptional user design across diverse industries.

Key Technical Skills:

Expertise in tools like Figma , Sketch , Adobe Creative Suite , InVision , and Protopie (or equivalents). Strong understanding of HTML , CSS , and collaboration with development teams (front-end understanding is a plus). Proficiency in design systems , prototyping , and design hand-off processes for developers.

Other Skills:

Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration abilities. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Adaptability to work in a fast-paced agile environment with competing deadlines. Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance) and best practices. Knowledge of user analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar , Google Analytics , Mixpanel , or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in psychology , behavioral science , or cognitive ergonomics is a strong plus. Familiarity with AI/ML-driven user experiences . Experience with B2B and B2C platforms.
