Responsibilities: Installation and Configuration : Execute installation of structured cabling systems including CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optics. Testing and Maintenance : Conduct thorough testing on all installations to ensure system compliance and performance. Provide ongoing maintenance and quick resolutions for any system issues. Documentation : Accurately document project details, including schematics, layouts, and network configurations, ensuring all records are up-to-date. Project Management : Collaborate with project managers and teams to meet project deadlines and adhere to budgets. Oversee on-site resources and ensure efficient material use. Client Interaction : Directly communicate with clients to confirm requirements and provide project updates. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly. Compliance and Safety : Maintain strict adherence to national and international standards, including TIA/EIA standards, and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements. Team Leadership : Mentor and oversee junior technicians and engineers, imparting critical skills and ensuring safety practices are followed. Qualifications: Education : Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a similar field. Experience : At least 3 years of experience in structured cabling or a closely related industry. Certifications : BICSI certification is highly desirable. Networking certifications (such as CCNA) will be considered a plus. Skills Expertise in technical document interpretation and network infrastructure. Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical abilities. Effective communication and team management skills. Proficient in English and [local language, if applicable]. Physical Requirements : Capable of physical tasks such as lifting equipment up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working in diverse environments.
