About the role
As a VAPT Engineer at RIB, you will play a crucial role in analysing customer system environments and products to identify potential security vulnerabilities. Your responsibilities will include executing system-related attack surface mapping, conducting technical testing against customer's target systems, and providing countermeasures to mitigate security risks. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse customer system environments and products for security vulnerabilities - Execute system-related attack surface mapping to identify potential entry points for malicious actors - Conduct Blackbox or grey box security testing to assess security posture - Perform technical testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses - Provide recommendations to mitigate security risks - Collaborate with teams to implement security best practices - Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends - Document security assessment processes and findings - Communicate effectively with clients about security findings - Participate in continuous improvement efforts for VAPT methodologies Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer engineering, Information Technology/BCS/BCA - 2-4 years of experience as a penetration tester on web and mobile applications - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices - Knowledge of security frameworks like OWASP, NIST, and CIS - Familiarity with security assessment tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Prior experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing is preferred At RIB, we value diversity and create an inclusive culture where all employees are treated with dignity and respect.
