About the role
Pay: $36.00/hour with additional $1.15/hour for 3rd shift Shifts: 3rd shift Weekends
What You’ll Do
-
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and controls systems for production and high‑speed packaging equipment
-
Support extruders, dryers, conveying systems, cartoners, baggers, palletizers, utilities, HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems
-
Partner with Operations and Maintenance to resolve recurring issues and complete preventative maintenance
-
Maintain PLC backups, schematics, and electrical documentation
-
Modify and improve electrical and control systems in compliance with NEC standards

Assist with capital projects and equipment installations
What We’re Looking For
-
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
-
Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level necessary to perform the essential functions of the job

Strong electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read wiring diagrams
-
2‑year Electrical Technician degree or equivalent experience (apprenticeship, military training, or 3+ years hands‑on electrical/controls experience)

Willingness to obtain CPR certification

Preferred Experience Food manufacturing electrical and controls experience

Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs
-
OSHA 10
-
Experience operating forklifts or lifts
-
Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs

Stand 8+ hours per shift

Climb ladders and work at heights up to 35 ft

Work in hot, cold, humid, and dusty environments
