About the role
You are an experienced Senior .NET Developer with expertise in WPF, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS). Your role involves leading the design and development of enterprise-grade desktop applications, defining architectural standards, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability of WPF-based systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead architecture, design, and development of complex WPF desktop applications. - Design scalable solutions using MVVM architecture pattern. - Create reusable WPF components, custom controls, and resource dictionaries. - Optimize UI performance and memory management in large-scale applications. - Implement advanced data binding techniques, commands, and behaviors. - Ensure proper separation of concerns and adherence to SOLID principles. - Design and optimize MySQL databases, schemas, indexing, and query performance. - Conduct code reviews and enforce best coding practices. - Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. - Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance. - Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders for technical solutioning. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core. - Deep understanding of OOPS concepts including Encapsulation, Abstraction, Inheritance, and Polymorphism. - Strong understanding of SOLID principles. - Experience in multithreading, async/await, and task-based programming. - Knowledge of memory management and performance tuning in WPF. - Advanced knowledge of XAML; Data Binding; ICommand implementation; Dependency Properties; Attached Properties; Routed Events; MVVM patterns; Prism/MVVM frameworks (preferred); Custom Controls; Control Templates; Data Templates; Styles & Resource Dictionaries; Value Converters; Triggers & Visual States; complex UI workflows; large data grids and virtualization; UI performance optimization; Dispatcher & threading; WPF animations; theming, dynamic UI styling; localization and globalization. Additional Preferred Skills: - Entity Framework / Dapper. - REST API integration. - Microservices architecture (if applicable). - Experience with CI/CD pipelines. - Git / Azure DevOps. - Unit testing (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest). - Logging frameworks (Serilog, NLog).
