Mail Id: soujanya.das@ridik.net JD: Job Description POSITION: SAP Data - SAP BO Consultant Exp: 4-8 yrs Job Location: Bangalore Job Type: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent/ Direct payroll/ Full Time Notice period: Immediate-10 days (max) The SAP BO Consultant will be responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and accuracy of reporting and Development. Candidate should have a strong experience in universe design and validation using UDT and IDT. The role requires strong technical expertise in BO administration, testing, and validation, with close collaboration across BASIS, BW, and business teams. Key Responsibilities Upgrade Planning & Execution: Lead BO upgrade activities, including pre-/post-upgrade tasks, patch application, and environment validation. Universe Validation: Validate universes created in UDT and IDT, ensuring data source connectivity, joins, contexts, and derived tables remain consistent post-upgrade. UDT Expertise: Maintain and troubleshoot legacy universes, optimize SQL generation, and validate report dependencies . IDT Expertise: Design and validate new universes in IDT, manage multi-source universes, and ensure compatibility with BW. End-to-End Testing: Develop test plans, perform regression testing, and validate BO functionalities post-upgrade/system copy. Report Validation: Validate Web Intelligence, Dashboards, and publication to ensure accuracy and business continuity. Scheduling & Distribution: Validate scheduled reports, publications, and distribution lists. Data Connectivity Checks: Verify connections to BW and other data sources after upgrade/system copy. Performance Benchmarking: Monitor and optimize report execution times, scheduling, and server performance. Transport & Promotion Management: Manage promotion jobs, transport requests, and environment synchronization. Data Integrity Checks: Perform reconciliation and consistency checks across environments. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, and validation reports. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with BASIS, functional teams, and business users to ensure smooth execution. Required Skills & Experience Strong expertise in SAP BO administration (CMC, CCM, Promotion Management). Hands-on experience with UDT for legacy universe maintenance and validation. Proficiency in IDT for designing and validating universes, including multi-source universes. Strong troubleshooting skills in server performance and connectivity issues. Proficiency in report validation across WebI, Crystal, and dashboards. Familiarity with SAP BW integration. Experience in test planning and execution for large-scale upgrades. Education Qualificaiton BE Or Equlant Roles & Responsibilities if there is any Emergency Support, he should be willing to extend and Provide Required Support.
