React JS Frontend Developer

As a developer in this position, you will be responsible for developing a full-featured product and its features using cutting-edge technologies. Your role will involve rapidly developing and releasing prototypes, as well as refactoring and maintaining older code to meet strict deadlines. Additionally, you will integrate with other products via APIs, develop algorithms for improved efficiency, create new reports and metrics, and collaborate with mapping partners to offer innovative solutions to customers. Roles and Responsibilities: - Understand customer requirements and translate them into application features - Collaborate with the team to define specifications for new features - Design prototypes based on specifications - Write high-quality code and ensure on-time delivery - Conduct unit and integration testing before launch - Perform functional and non-functional testing - Troubleshoot and debug applications - Evaluate existing code for refactoring, updates, and new features - Create technical documents and handbooks - Mentor and coach junior developers - Utilize Jira for tracking, monitoring, and communicating development progress Required Qualifications: - Good working experience with open-source technologies, React JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript - Proficiency in Web Development and/or Mobile Development using JavaScript frontend frameworks and libraries - Experience with Firebase and deployment of mobile apps on Appstore/Play Store - Knowledge of Koa or Express in web development - Understanding of RESTful Services and experience with RESTful APIs - Front-end experience with React & SASS, State management using MobX or Redux - Proficiency in Git for version control Nice-to-Have Skills: - TDD or BDD with Jasmine or equivalent - Experience in writing custom SQL queries for PostgreSQL with PostGIS in Web development - Familiarity with Bookshelf or Sequelize ORMs for Web development - Ability to use AI tools for quick development - Exposure to AWS cloud services such as Kinesis, SNS, SQS, S3 This role offers the advantage of flexible work hours, a hybrid work mode, and the opportunity to work with the latest cloud-based technologies across the stack.
