Technical Architect

Brief Role : Enterprise Technical Architect (SAP and Cloud) Job Description Technical Architect with at least 8 years or more of overall IT experience and 3 years of public cloud experience. Responsibilities will include: Engineering and designing solutions to migrate from On Premise Data Centers to Public cloud environment ( AWS / MS Azure) Participate and drive scoping and discovery sessions on customer SAP cloud initiatives. Architect secure migration methods to move workloads from On- Premises to defined cloud providers Work with other team members to evaluate solutions and gain consensus on technical solutions. Work with technology teams to prototype and prove the viability of solutions Work with Cloud providers and business teams to troubleshoot application performance on cloud environment and other business critical issues. Offer recommendations based on industry best practices. Technical Skill set requirements: Experienced on the following: Compute, Storage, Networking, designing (highly available and secure infrastructure), Private Cloud Solution Microsoft or VMWare Virtualization - Microsoft Hyper- V or VMWare ESX, Virtual Infrastructure Management, Windows Servers (2008/ 2012), Linux Operating System, Scripting (PowerShell, JSON etc..) Wintel, IIS, DNS, DHCP, PKI, Firewall, ACLs, Ports / IP address, certificates, load- balancer, HA solution Networking and connectivity (VPN/ Direct Connectivity) between on premise and public cloud Hands- on experience with enterprise- wide hybrid/ public/ private cloud solution, design and implementation projects OpenStack, AWS, Azure Strong knowledge networking and hybrid connectivity between clouds and on premise network (MPLS, VPN etc..) IAM, Federation, Active Directory and AD Federation Services Preferred: Technical certification: Azure or AWS Solution Architect Any experience with SAP on Cloud is highly desirable.
