QA Engineer SAP

Position Summary The QA Engineer SAP Finance role is based in our Hyderabad, India office. The primary responsibility is to ensure the quality and integrity of SAP financial systems through the design, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive testing processes across SAP FICO, with integration knowledge of SAP SD and MM processes. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the development team and business analyst to gather and interpret requirements and author technical specifications. Design, develop, and execute test cases for SAP Finance (FI/CO) modules based on the agreed technical specifications and acceptance criteria. Identify, document, and track defects, working with the development team to ensure timely resolution. Create complex test data across FICO, SD, and MM. Conduct regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP finance solutions. Prepare and maintain testing evidence documentation and provide clear status updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards in all test activities. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other QA members, supporting onboarding and skill development. Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications 46 years of extensive functional and testing experience within SAP FICO, with knowledge of integration points with MM and SD preferred. Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in SAP FICO configuration. Handson experience with table updates, document creation, and master data maintenance in FICO, MM, and SD. Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP system architecture. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality results. Excellent strategic and critical thinking abilities to aid with problemsolving. Willingness to be assertive, ask clarifying questions, and provide valuable input to aid continuous improvement. Strong English, conversational and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook). Desirable Skills Experience with tax & regulatory reporting used in the EMEA region (e.g., SAFT / eInvoicing). Experience working with an Agile approach, including familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and Agile ceremonies. Experience with automated testing frameworks. Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. Knowledge of S/4HANA.
