About the role
Role Overview: As an Engineering Project Manager at RINA in Mumbai, you will be responsible for executing and leading projects within the Energy Engineering Project Management Division. Your main mission will involve ensuring project deliverables are completed within defined deadlines, scope, and budget, while collaborating closely with clients and internal teams for project success. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals. Adjust project plans as needed and communicate updates to stakeholders. - Ensure all project activities comply with client contract terms and conditions, tracking any amendments and identifying contract risks. - Act as the main point of contact for the client, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and facilitating client meetings for project progress discussions. - Coordinate task assignments with project engineers and/or Discipline Leaders, monitor team performance, and foster collaboration within the project team. - Develop and track the project budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement adjustments to stay within financial constraints. - Develop a risk management plan, monitor risk factors, and engage stakeholders to implement mitigation plans when risks become significant. - Oversee quality control procedures, review project outputs for compliance, and conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned. - Maintain accurate project documentation, ensure regular communication with stakeholders, and develop final project reports summarizing outcomes. Qualification Required: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering General - 10+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting - Professional project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner are desirable - Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and proficiency in project management methodologies - Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes - Competencies in workplace dynamics, foresight & insight, personal empowerment, interpersonal influence, and domain & business acumen Additional Company Details: RINA is a multinational company offering services in the energy, marine, certification, infrastructure & mobility, industry, research & development sectors.
