About the role
As a Test Automation Engineer, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and test frameworks. You will be responsible for planning and managing end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Your tasks will include creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test reports using Azure DevOps. Additionally, you will track, report, and verify defects through closure and coordinate with development and product teams to ensure quality deliverables. Monitoring test execution, identifying risks, and driving issue resolution will also be part of your responsibilities. You will integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and contribute to process improvements while mentoring junior team members. Qualifications Required: - 4-5 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. - Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. - Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools. - Strong understanding of test planning, test management, and defect lifecycle. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, sprint planning, and CI/CD integration. - Experience with Git version control. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
