Machine Learning Manager

As a Data Science Manager, you will collaborate closely with a team of consultants, data scientists, and data engineers to design and deliver impactful solutions, drive adoption, and articulate value. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of 5-10 data scientists with diverse expertise in machine learning, computer vision, data engineering, and statistical modeling. - Problem solving to create impact and troubleshoot any hurdles that may arise. - Coaching, troubleshooting, and mentoring data scientists to build more accurate models. - Interfacing with users, senior stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure models and products meet expectations. - Proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and challenges. - Program managing multiple delivery situations simultaneously, potentially across various sites. - Maintaining a client-focused approach to ensure success. - Innovating to leverage cutting-edge AI and ML approaches in model building, training, and deployment. - Collaborating with software engineers for data retrieval, data ETL, and model deployment. - Contributing to organizational development through training, mentoring, and establishing repeatable analytic approaches. To be successful in this role, you should have: - 4-6 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a similar role as a Data Science Manager. - Hands-on knowledge of Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI techniques, including model tuning and interpreting results from a business perspective. - Proficiency in Python programming with a strong understanding of libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras, and PyCaret. - Preferable experience in industries such as Auto, Consumer Goods, Retail, Manufacturing, or Pharma. - Excellent presentation and communication skills.
