Senior Plumbing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to manage and oversee plumbing, water supply, drainage, and sanitation works in residential and commercial construction projects. The candidate should have strong expertise in plumbing design, site execution, vendor coordination, and compliance with building codes and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute plumbing and sanitary systems for residential & commercial projects. Prepare layouts for water supply, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, and rainwater harvesting systems. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems (pumps, pipelines, water tanks, valves, STP, WTP, etc.). Ensure compliance with IS codes, CPHEEO standards, and local municipal regulations. Review BOQs, cost estimates, and vendor/contractor bills. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other MEP teams for project execution. Inspect ongoing site work for quality, safety, and timely completion. Provide technical support and troubleshooting solutions for plumbing issues at site. Manage and mentor junior engineers, foremen, and plumbers. Liaise with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for procurement and execution. Skills & Competencies: In-depth knowledge of plumbing design, water supply, drainage & sanitary systems. Hands-on experience with STP, WTP, rainwater harvesting, fire-fighting plumbing lines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and plumbing design tools. Strong project management, site execution, and vendor management skills. Good problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities. Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering (specialization in plumbing preferred). 6 10 years of relevant experience in real estate/construction industry.
