About the role
Wanted - Architectural Draftsman. ( Immediate Joiners ) Job Location- Malad East. Qualification- Diploma, or ITI Architectural Draftsman. Job Description- An architectural drafter translates an architect's or engineer's preliminary designs into detailed, precise working blueprints using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit . They are responsible for preparing technical plans, calculating dimensions, and ensuring all drawings comply with local building codes, municipal zoning regulations, and industry standards. [1, 2, 3] Key Responsibilities Drafting & Modeling: Create detailed architectural, structural, and civil drawings (e.g., floor plans, elevations, cross-sections). Code Compliance: Ensure all drafts and construction documents strictly adhere to building codes and safety regulations. Collaboration: Coordinate closely with architects, civil engineers, project managers, and contractors to clarify design intent and update revisions. Site Evaluation: Visit job sites to gather field measurements, verify dimensions, and assess existing conditions. Documentation: Prepare material takeoffs, project specifications, and maintain organized project files. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Qualifications & Skills Education: Associates degree in architectural drafting, drafting technology, or a certificate in CAD software/architectural design. Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of industry-standard programs, including AutoCAD , Revit , ArchiCAD , or BIM (Building Information Modeling).will be added knwoledge. Technical Skills: Deep understanding of construction methods, building materials, and blueprint reading.
