Hiring: Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity Intern Job Title: Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity Intern Job Type: Internship Duration: 3 Months Location: On-site Schedule: Full-Time About the Internship We are looking for a motivated and passionate Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity Intern who has completed training in ethical hacking, cybersecurity, and networking. This internship is ideal for students, recent graduates, or aspiring cybersecurity professionals who want to gain practical experience by working on real-world security projects under the guidance of experienced mentors. This is an internship focused on learning, skill development, and hands-on experience. You will receive structured training, mentorship, and exposure to industry-standard cybersecurity tools and practices. What You'll Learn Perform basic security assessments and vulnerability identification. Learn penetration testing methodologies and ethical hacking techniques. Understand network security concepts and best practices. Gain hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and security monitoring. Learn web application security fundamentals. Understand incident response and security reporting. Work with experienced mentors on practical cybersecurity projects. Responsibilities Assist in performing vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing. Analyze network and application security. Support security audits and risk assessments. Help identify, document, and report security vulnerabilities. Learn to use cybersecurity and networking tools under supervision. Research emerging cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques. Participate in security awareness and technical learning sessions. Maintain documentation of findings and recommendations. Requirements Must have completed training in Ethical Hacking/ Cybersecurity/Networking (college, bootcamp, institute, or online certification). Must have completed at least one cybersecurity or ethical hacking project and uploaded it to GitHub or documented it in a portfolio. Good understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, Firewalls). Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows and Linux). Basic understanding of web application security concepts (OWASP Top 10 is a plus). Familiarity with security tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, or Kali Linux is preferred. Basic knowledge of scripting using Python or Bash is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and documentation skills. Willingness to learn and follow ethical and legal cybersecurity practices. Preferred Qualifications Students or recent graduates in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field. Candidates with cybersecurity certifications or training (e.g., CEH, Google Cybersecurity, Cisco Networking, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent) are encouraged to apply.
