Analytics Lead AI & Decision Intelligence

Riverstone Talent is hiring for a Analytics Lead AI & Decision Intelligence on behalf of a well-funded Series A AI/ML startup focused on BFSI sector based out of Bangalore. The Analytics Lead will spearhead AI, Machine Learning, and Agentic AI solutions for complex business problems in banking, insurance, and enterprise AI. You'll lead a team of data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts owning everything from translating business problems into analytical frameworks to deploying production-ready models at scale. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape AI product roadmaps, drive model governance, and present recommendations to senior executives and customers. What You'll Do: Lead end-to-end AI/analytics projects: data preparation model deployment monitoring Design agentic AI, predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models Establish best practices for feature engineering, model validation, experimentation, and MLOps Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and customer success Drive model explainability, compliance, and performance optimization What You Bring: Master's/Bachelor's in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Engineering (MBA + Engineering preferred) 46 years in analytics/data science/ML, with 35 years leading teams Strong Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch) Domain expertise in banking and/or insurance Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Have: Experience with credit risk, fraud detection, customer acquisition, pricing analytics, or collections Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and Agentic AI architectures Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) Familiarity with responsible AI, SHAP/LIME explainability, and regulatory compliance Technical skills: Machine Learning & Deep LearningStatistical ModelingPython, SQLData Engineering ConceptsFeature EngineeringModel Explainability (SHAP / LIME)MLOps & CI/CDGenerative AI & LLMsPrompt EngineeringScikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorchCloud Platforms AWS, Azure, or Google CloudRAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) & Agentic AI Architectures Why Join: Build cutting-edge Decision Intelligence products for BFSI Work with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and modern MLOps Influence product strategy and grow into senior technical/business leadership .
