Role Overview: As a Data Systems Analyst at Roche, you will play a crucial role in accelerating life-changing diagnostic solutions by applying deep business domain knowledge and systems thinking to transform complex technologies into cohesive organizational strategies. Your work will directly contribute to Roche's commitment to Net-Zero goals and sustainable business transformation by aligning technology, data, and analytical solutions with critical safety, health, and environmental missions. Key Responsibilities: - Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by shaping long-term data roadmaps and system integration strategies - Lead in-depth data systems analysis, performing Gap Analysis ('As-Is' vs. 'To-Be') and defining Source-to-Target Mappings (STMs) and functional requirements - Drive comprehensive root cause analysis across organizational boundaries to resolve data discrepancies or quality issues - Identify and engage key stakeholders globally, navigating conflicts and bridging the gap between data engineers and business analysts/data consumers - Mentor practitioners and contribute to organizational development within the Community of Practice Qualifications: - Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Data Architecture, System Integration principles, and strategic consultancy concepts - Hands-on proficiency with data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python) to extract actionable insights and validate system requirements - Strong capability in data modeling techniques and requirements management, tailoring methodologies to fit highly ambiguous data system requirements - Deep ability to apply systems thinking and anticipate challenges across related data domains - Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive collaboration across different structures - Dedication to organizational development and mentorship to elevate the standards of Business Analysis practitioners Company Details: Roche is dedicated to advancing science and ensuring access to healthcare for everyone now and in the future.
