As a Hardware Engineering Lead at Rockwell Automation, you will be responsible for driving functional excellence in engineering solutions and providing knowledge base services for Hardware Engineering applications. You will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from pre-sale proposal support to engineering support, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work independently on technical tasks related to hardware and 3rd party interfaces, handling project-related travel assignments both within India and overseas. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver assigned projects on time with good quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring customer satisfaction - Take on challenging tasks and provide solutions to internal and external partners - Continuously improve engineering capabilities and exchange best practices with team members - Lead technical implementation throughout the project delivery life cycle - Collaborate with Technical Leads/SMEs to address technical issues and share workloads - Present solutions to partners and coordinate development tasks with team members - Work with Project Managers for scope management, deliver execution plans, and monitor execution quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction - Drive business growth and strengthen Rockwell Automation's technology footprint - Support AOP planning and ensure adherence to project implementation procedures - Manage resources effectively, ensuring accurate capacity planning and skill allocation Qualifications Required: - Positive understanding of AutoCAD, ACAD-Electrical, ePlan, CEWS, CREO, RA Advisor - Good knowledge of DOL, S/D, VFDs, Soft-Starters, Servo, PLC, MCC, and Safety System Designing - Understanding of design calculations, mechanical design of enclosures, and control circuit development - Awareness of electrical design standards such as IEC, JIC/NEMA, UL, ATEX, CE codes - Expertise in RA products/Hardware like Control Logix, VFDs, and Server Client architecture - Experience in third-party PLC systems migration, IT software platforms, and automation technologies - Record of managing complex customer projects and strong understanding of Project Management - Commissioning experience and troubleshooting skills - Ability to develop team capability, encourage multi-skilling, and promote knowledge transfer Rockwell Automation offers a dynamic work environment, competitive compensation, exceptional benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
