Secure Network Engineer (WAN & Firewall)

Responsibilities Manage and configure the WAN & Firewall infrastructure and ensure smooth network operations at the locations with the WAN & Firewall hardware, software, operating systems and applications and keep documentation up to date. Ensure effective and reliable IT network so that all systems function optimally. Evaluate and implement new technologies to continuously improve network services. Support automation of tasks through scripting (Python, YAML). Advise internal customers on specific network & firewall requirements and develop customized solutions (customer consulting). Participate in the introduction of new technologies and solutions. Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of Aruba Edge Connect / Arista & CheckPoint Firewall infrastructure. In-depth understanding and experience in managing and optimising WAN & Firewall infrastructure. Understanding of secure network architectures. Experience in documentation and monitoring of enterprise networks, including IPAM, network diagrams and monitoring tools. Proficiency in Python and experience with GitOps methodologies. Familiarity with ITIL processes and experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira. 48 years of relevant experience. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
