Your Tasks Enhance and expand the existing Linux workplace on Ubuntu to meet evolving user and company needs Design, develop, and configure new features for Linux client instances to address business or IT security requirements Ensure function, stability, and reliability of the Linux workplace on various hardware types and virtual machines through quality assurance and testing Provide expert 2nd level Linux support for workplace users, leveraging existing IT service management processes Analyze and resolve integration issues with company infrastructure Oversee maintenance of Linux workplace-specific infrastructure servers and software repositories Your Qualifications Linux Passion: Deep enthusiasm for Linux as a mindset and essential tool, with a love for working on the command line Advanced Linux Packaging and Administration: Proven expertise in packaging and administering GNU/Linux and Debian-based distributions, focusing on Ubuntu Software Development and Scripting: Experience in software development and scripting with strong skills in Bash, Python, and GNU utilities Efficient Linux Software Development: Skilled in managing Linux software development processes and GIT-based CI/CD pipelines for smooth workflows Linux Configuration Management: Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Salt-Stack, Ansible, or Puppet Modern Linux Environments: Familiarity with desktop virtualization and Linux container runtime environments like VMWare, Oracle VirtualBox, Hyper-V, WSL2, Docker, and Podman Analytical Skills: Excellent debugging and error analysis skills under Linux IT Service Management: Proven ability to deliver high-quality IT support and services
