Webserver Administrator (Pune)

Must-Have Skills: - Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience administering Apache HTTP Server. - Robust Linux/Unix administration skills (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). - Expertise in Apache modules (e.g., mod_rewrite, mod_ssl, mod_proxy, mod_security). - Proficient in SSL/TLS certificate management, including renewal and troubleshooting. - Experience in performance tuning, connection/thread management, and caching (e.g., Varnish or Apache caching modules). - Familiarity with DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and networking basics. - Scripting skills in Bash/Shell (Python/Perl is a plus). - Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP, HTTPS, headers, etc.). Good-to-Have / Preferred: - Experience with HAProxy, NGINX, or other web servers/load balancers. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines. - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience in supporting Apache Tomcat or JBoss alongside Apache HTTP Server.
