Job type: Full-time Experience: 5+ years Workplace type: On-site Location: Balewadi, Pune (Onsite) Shift: US Rotational Night Shift What you'll do VMware Infrastructure Administer VMware vSphere environments ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, clusters, resource pools, networking Perform ESXi host lifecycle management patching, upgrades, compatibility validation Manage VMware HA, DRS, and cluster capacity planning Storage Migration & EMC PowerMax Execute large-scale storage migrations from legacy platforms to Dell EMC PowerMax arrays Perform datastore migrations using Storage vMotion and datastore evacuation techniques Lead cluster-level storage transitions ensuring minimal downtime Collaborate on SAN configuration zoning, LUN provisioning, masking, path validation Validate multipathing (SATP/PSP) and storage connectivity across ESXi hosts VMware Storage Management Manage VMFS, NFS datastores, vVols, and storage policies Configure multipathing and path selection policies (Round Robin, Fixed, Most Recently Used) Manage SATP/PSP plugins and storage path optimization Automation & Tools PowerCLI automation for migration tasks, datastore operations, and cluster remediation VMware vCenter, Storage vMotion CLI, VMware Converter / HCX (preferred) Operational Tier-3 support for VMware storage issues Develop migration runbooks and operational procedures Participate in planned maintenance windows and migration waves Qualifications 5+ years hands-on VMware vSphere administration Demonstrated experience executing large-scale VMware migrations (hundreds of VMs) Proven Storage vMotion and datastore migration experience at scale Integration experience with Dell EMC PowerMax storage platforms Strong VMFS, multipathing, SATP/PSP, and datastore management knowledge Fibre Channel SAN experience zoning, LUN masking, path validation Multi-cluster VMware environment management in enterprise datacenters PowerCLI scripting and VMware automation proficiency Nice to Have VMware certifications VCP-DCV or VCAP-DCV Deploy/Design Dell EMC tools experience Unisphere, Solutions Enabler 500+ VM or multi-cluster datacenter environment exposure Datacenter consolidation or storage refresh project background Primary skills VMware vSphere ESXi vCenter Server Storage vMotion Dell EMC PowerMax Fibre Channel SAN PowerCLI VMFS Multipathing VMware DRS VMware HA LUN masking SAN zoning NFS datastores vVols VMware HCX Unisphere Solutions Enabler VCP-DCV Why RSC Solutions India RSC Solutions is a global IT staffing and managed services company headquartered in the USA (est. 1997).
