About the role
Job Summary We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business and technology. The ideal candidate should have experience in requirement gathering, process analysis, product documentation and Agile development methodologies. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers and developers to define product requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Role & Responsibilities Requirement Gathering & Analysis Interact with stakeholders to understand business requirements. Conduct workshops, interviews and requirement gathering sessions. Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. Convert business requirements into detailed functional requirements. Research industry trends and competitor products to recommend product enhancements. Documentation Business Requirement Documents (BRD) Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) User Stories Use Cases Process Flow Diagrams Wireframe Inputs Acceptance Criteria Product Backlog Ensure all documentation is version-controlled and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Product & Feature Definition Define workflows for various modules. Identify business rules, validations and edge cases. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive user journeys. Ensure scalability and usability while defining features. Agile Project Support Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Prioritize and manage product backlog. Clarify requirements during development. Validate delivered functionality against approved requirements. Testing & UAT Prepare functional test scenarios. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Validate completed features before production deployment. Assist in defect analysis and resolution. Required Skills Strong requirement gathering and analytical skills. Experience preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories and Process Flows. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications. Knowledge of APIs, databases and web applications. Strong documentation skills. Excellent problem-solving ability. Preferred Candidate Profile Experience in CRM or SaaS products. Exposure to Travel Technology or ERP systems. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence. Basic understanding of REST APIs and Vendor APIs. Experience working with development teams using React, PHP or Node.js.
